Magnetic particle imaging (MPI) and magnetic hyperthermia therapy (MHT) both depend on the dynamic magnetic response of magnetic nanoparticles, but the particle properties required for strong imaging contrast and efficient heating do not always align. This study systematically examines how iron oxide core size and PEG surface coating influence dual MPI-MHT performance.
